so im gonna run down the list of game I had before and go through them with what i saw. If i didnt see anything im not gonn put an after
Call of Duty MW3:
Before: really doesn't look like anything new. The series is stale now
After: No demos to play but they blasted a 100 decible trailer at us showing the world gone to shit. Nothing new
Fable The Journey:
Before:What? An on rails fable game? I'm lost
Mass Effect 3:
Before: Looks like ME2 on a larger scale
After: Awesome game want it now.
Minecraft:
Before: was announced to be coming to the xbox during winter.... the fuck? I cant decide if this is good or bad.
After: got to play it on the Sony Xperia phone. thers only creative mode right now and the controls are really wonky.
Battlefield 3:
Before
After: Sadly i didn't get to play it but I still want it
Halo: CE anniversary : a graphical update to the first halo game. I've waited for this for a while but what the shit. Really microsoft is this the best graphics you could give us?
Halo 4: *sigh* I knew this was coming but i really hoped that it wasn't. Master Chief is back.... dammit. This looks nice and all but dammit the story is OVER please dont make the chief into a cash cow like Call of Duty. Go back please or do something different. Do the early years of the war, play as a mook marine hell even a covenant game would be better. *sob*
Dark Souls:
Before:Looks nice and if its anything like Demon's souls then I am going to be ripping my hair out in frustration and sheer and pure rage.
After: THIS IS DEMON SOULS there is little difference between the two games. Hell they had the controllers hard hooked into the wall so people couldnt throw them. I almost did AND ITS A DEMO.
even better NOBODY BEAT THE FUCKING DEMO! I talked to the guys running the booth and nobody had beaten the demo. THE DEMO!
Ghost recon future soldier:
Before:this game has finally done something that I have wanted forever and a half. A system that lets you customize your gun like a car in forza. YES.
After: WANT IT NOW!
Also i was able to get a peak at Metro: Last Light and it looks to be a great improvement to my favorite game Metro:2033, as well as Zelda: Skyward Sword.
Let me tell you that game is a whole new game compared to the old zelda games.
Where to start. well first the game itself references ocarina of time. then the zelda character is nothing like any other zelda. She looks different, she's not a princess in a tower, or a pirate. Shes a courageous girl who throws herself off a cliff because she knows link will catch her on his bird mount. Combat is much different. With the wii motion plus enemies are now a puzzle within themselves. Basically when you move the wii remote Link copies exactly. For example giant spiders. Their entire body is armored except their belly. So you cut them from their web, then move the wii remote down the quickly slash up to flip them so you can attack them. Same thing with the boss fight. He will block your attacks so you have to maneuver around his defense and strike past his guard.
